How to Determine if your B8 has the 65mm or 75mm Front LCA Rear Inner Bushing

Somewhere around 2012, Audi switched up the bushing design on the Front LCA (curved arm). There is no definitive cutoff date, so use this guide to determine which is in your car.

Here are the bushings. Obviously the 75mm is the bigger one, and it goes into the control arm with the bigger hole.

It’s difficult to see the bushing unless you’re on the lift, so the easiest way is to reach around the wheel and feel the indent on the top of the arm closest to the wheel, near the ball joint. In the photos below, notice how the channel is much longer on the 75mm arm, and notice the location of the little nub in the middle.

  • Short channel w/nub towards the center of the car - 65mm

  • Long channel w/nub towards the outside of the car - 75mm
